At Kol Ami, we are committed to fostering a warm and inclusive community where individuals and families can connect, grow spiritually, and engage in meaningful experiences.

By becoming a member, you not only gain access to our services, programs, and events, but you also play a vital role in supporting the ongoing work of our congregation. All memberships include Kol Ami’s High Holiday services. Your membership dues are essential for maintaining and expanding our efforts, and we are deeply grateful for your participation.

Those who are willing and able are invited to join at the Sustainer Level, which more accurately reflects the costs of running our congregation and helps provide a stable financial foundation.

Individuals who do not live in or near the Washington, D.C., region—including former members who have moved away—are encouraged to join as Out of Town Friends of Kol Ami.

After submitting your membership form, you will receive an invoice directly from the Kol Ami Treasurer. All dues are tax-deductible, though tuition for educational programs is not. The membership year runs from July 1 through June 30.

Financial hardship is never a barrier to full membership at Kol Ami. If you need financial assistance or a payment plan, pick “Other” below and please reach out confidentially to rabbi@kolamivirginia.org or treasurer@kolamivirginia.org.
